Wow that is awesome, I might line up for one of those. W55 is shorter than the subie box so the shifter won't be under my elbow. just need to compare the cost to RWD conversion of subie box.

OK, now I know it will fit, tight but tight is good. My biggest concern atm is the size of the engine, mainly width between shock towers, and depth from rediator to firewall. If anyone could give me basic measurements then I'll know if it will fit or not.

I'm not to sure on the Subaru set up eg. trans-axle/rear diff/trans-axle any pics you could show me so I am on the same page would be good.

I have tried wiki for the dimensions but no luck.

Dose the OHC of the EA82 make it wider than the EA81?

I am looking at putting a EA81/82 into a Morris Minor for something different.
I am trying to find out if it is possible to fit a toyota 5spd or similar behind it.

Any info would be helpful.
