if it is piston and rings i think its cheaper to get a reco engine than buy a set of piston and rings for a suby. but i haven looked into there prices for about 10 years so might have got cheaper

Hi guys (and girls), my 1992 liberty wagon has lost all coolant and overheated twice in a week. I'll take it to the mechanic tomorrow, but would like some guesses before I go there. There oil looks fine (not milky) but all coolant has left the reserve tank and the radiator. I have topped up and see...

For your patricular situation id go for a vlsd, purely due to road driving. Just remember that the oil in a vlsd thickens up as you spin a wheel which is actually what helps lock up the diff sumwhat.

thanks that does help. i guess the one i choose will be the first one i find for the best money then. all the diffs iv been lookin at have been between 450 to 500. should i be able to find one cheaper than that

i once did a trip with my dad and a mate,we came along some really big ruts which caused our front wheels to lift of the ground,my dads subi with the lsd did ok until one front wheel and one back wheel came of the ground the lsd wasnt able to spin the opposite side wheel but my mate with the vlsd s...

vlsd vs lsd

im lookin at getting a rear lsd for my lib. but just wondering the difference between the vlsd and lsd or are they the same thing. im going to use my car for the road and bush so what would be better. and does anyone have one they want to of load

yes they were 27s. i had 28s on a my wagon but as well as the guard chop i had to roll the guards to. it used a vary technical tool to do it. an alloy baseball bat

i had them on my my leone and had no problems. from memory i had to cut the front and do a little panel beatin with a hammer. but it was nothing major. and they didn rub after that no mater how hard i went in the bush. and i had a 2 inch kit in mine
