backyard brumby if you'd like a hand during the day some time I'm more than happy to.

Steptoe I'm not a fan of that method, bad memories from my now long deceased r31 skyline, but thanks for the tip all the same

engine swap help

I'm going to need to do an engine swap out of a gl wagon in a couple of weeks, was wondering if there's anyone on the South side that would like to assist? As I've never done one before

Thanks for that, and getting the newer car is the better idea gives me the brumby to play with, but might still get that L series as I won't have to deal with serious rust. Any good ways for preventing the rust from starting in them? Like taking all the panels off and painting (tarring?) as I would ...

Hrmm and the chances of fitting a second Weber isn't an option. Any chance of a bigger aftermarket carb? As I haven't the foggiest how they connect/work with the engine. Been brought up on nothing but efi.. Back to googling I think
