cmon, do the write up. How much did it lift it? I picked up some adjustable front shocks off an older L today yeh sorry i shouldve mentioned the lift part of it. i got about an inch lift out of it and i have full lock both ways without scrubbing, its only got 2inch body lift and havnt trimmed the g...

Falcon 'ell EA springs!! I would expect them to be rock hard in a lightweight subie yeh they where pretty knacked when they come out of the ford and i had my doubts to, but they are the same diamater give or take an mil or two and had a cpl of spare hrs so thought why not....they are stiff but ther...

iv just done the front of mine with front springs out of an ea falcon, i have been meaning to do a wrie up about em but still not 100% sure on them....it might sound to you's that they would be to stiff for a subie but you would be very surprised at the outcome...will let you all know very soon....

Just curious, why are you keen to use a low viscosity diff oil? Have always used the std oil, and with all that things that have broken / blown up, have yet to a diff let go. Are you trying quieten a worn diff? i changed the oil in it 2 weeks ago (oil in it was not looking good when it come out) an...

i could be wrong but as far as my L series goes there is no strap to hold the back section down. i just fold the base of the seat forward against the back of front seats then the back supports fold down and lay flat onto the base....if that makes any sense because i think i just confused myself...

Jack up one rear wheel, select neutral, handbrake off. If you can turn the wheel easily it's non-lsd. It should take some effort (breakaway torque) to rotate the wheel if it is an LSD. i might give that a try, i was talking to a bloke yesterday that swears he has one sitting in his shed, but its go...

Identifying a LSD????

Hey guys, just wondering if theres a way to tell if the R160 diff is a LSD. Is there numbers or markings on there other than the sticker or is it a matter of opening the diff up to see.???
