Anyone got a good condition 5 speed dual range gearbox to suit a L series with 23 spline driveshafts?

(Not the Touring wagon or turbo box with the 25 splines)

Mine does this too!

Every time I touch the brakes when a trailer is hooked up it lights up.

It lights up now without a trailer for the last few months and I jiggled the RHR tailight wiring and it fixed it for a little while but then came back.

I thought it was just dodgy trailer harness????

I have a 3.7 L series part time 4WD box, I find it is very tall and I only have 215/65-14 (25") tyres!

I'll have to look into this cut and shut thing and then see about a matching rear diff which I think might bolt up but have to suss out driveshafts.

4.4 would be sweet actually!

I've been thinking of the same but have not had time to search on here to see if 4.1's can be fitted somehow from a Liberty/Impreza etc.

Sell GIVE AWAY: Touring Wagon EA82 MPFI engine

I have the engine out of my 1988 Touring Wagon to give away.

EA82 MPFI 1.8

It used to run really well, 300,000km but I think it's blown a head gasket but it's 99% complete (still assembled) but missing the flywheel and maybe a few other bits?
