EJ25t intermittent start problems
I've an EJ25t in my Gen 2 Liberty wagon that has an intermittent (but becoming more constant) issue with failure to start when the engine is warm. Most mornings, or after work in the evening the car starts fine and the car drives really well with no issues. When the car is warmed up, say if i've dri...

New ride
Ladies and gents, I've got a new project. I sold the mighty Impreza and I've purchased a 97 Liberty RX wagon with an EJ25 turbo out of a late model (2006) XT Forester. At the moment it's lowered with a bling- bling front mount intercooler, low profile 17's and a single range manual gearbox. Plans ar...

15's or 16's- the eternal question?
So the new project has begun, and I've got a ********* full two inch lift kit on the way!! I'll need to put new tyres on the vehicle once lifted, and I have the option of either 15" or 16" wheels. Only, I don't know which way to go? I've heard opinions for both, but I'm wondering if anybody can help...

Good to see the 'lifted Impreza Disease' is spreading. Soon you'll all be infected and they will be the norm! BWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH (manic evil laugh). Looking forward to seeing where you go with this Guy, seeing what engine, gearbox, and diffs you end up with. My prediction is that this will become the...

Bah- don't listen to those guys ;) The best Subaru for 'sand work' is clearly a lifted Impreza (looks to D-Gen for back up)!! Yes, I may be biased, but thats my 2 cents... In all seriousness, no matter what you end up choosing, so long as it has a Six Star badge on the front, will make you smi...

In my "one day" plans I'm hoping to fit a winch on a custom front bumper bar, and I know a few of the regulars on here have successfully fitted winch's in a few different configurations (D-Generate ect). Having looked at the links above though, I've got to say I'm fascinated by the Bush Winch, and a...

I must be getting old- I don't like the monster tachometer / shift light at all. Kudos on the interior respray, looks neat, but that tacho down in front of the gear stick is (in my humble opinion) just dangerous. Anything that takes your attention from up high to down low is a risk. Sorry to be a do...
