Thanks for all your help guys...now i can start fixing her up. Perth got hit with hail pretty bad in March so finding parts is almost impossible. I'm gonna replace the bonnet, not sure whether to wait for stock or go carbon fibre and the roof and a few side panels are gonna try and be knocked out......

don't know if it helps but i have all the books and i've done REV's check, there aren't any irregularities anywhere.

The thing is...i get the same error messages with my other subaru... bought from the dealer...

the VIN for this one is... JF1GD9KF36G053278

I asked some of my subaru owning friends if i could check their vins and they get the same thing... model unknown and check number invalid.

I've owned subaru's my whole life but i admit that i don't know a whole lot about them (i used to work for Holden - don't shoot me!) Anyway i bought a 2006 impreza the other day (44000km... $8850... slight hail damage...was quite happy with that purchase)... it's a lot different to my 2007 impreza, ...
