Oldskoolscooby,

I know your after photos, but have you checked out the tech manual at the bottom of the forum list?

This'll give you a run down on what you can fit into a MY subaru in terms of cutting the chassis rails. But i don't think there are any photos...

Hope this is of some help...

Don't do things the easy way (blew the radiator...)

Well, that was a fun night last night... I was headed back to my parents joint near lancefield to see my sister who's down from "the snow" for a couple of days. We were cruisin on the calder bypass of kyneton when we heard some strange noises like i'd run over some debree on the road, only there was...

Hey dave, Nice work!

When's the prop going to be installed???

Very clean and professional job there, you must be proud.

How'd you go about finding this item and knowing that it would fit so well?

Hey marty, I've always gone to a mob down on springvale road... they usually have a good selection of subi's to choose from. The other one we've found as a good source of parts is Pick a part Kilsyth. Both of these places are a bit of a hike for me and i usually make a day of it. Good luck trying to...

The carb'd EJ's would still have some form of engine management system controlled by some sort of EMS or CPU (one of those computers...) to keep emissions down wouldn't they? If so, i'd reckon your better off going for an injected job... plus they're easier to find ;)

I had this same issue when i was trying to get ruby scoo going after replacing the head gaskets... it took me three months to figure it out... Turned out that i had one camshaft 180 degrees out because we read the manual as lining BOTH camshafts up with the middle of three marks on the crankshaft wi...

Hey Bunyip. I have to first ask what is your motive to move to hi range All Wheel Drive (AWD)? If for street work, you won't need the diff lock. The Hi/lo range (aka dual range) box is front wheel drive until you select 4WD or Low 4WD in the L-series. The Diff lock you refer to with the AWD box does...

Very nice chris! I'm jealous that you found an AWD Lseries, let alone a turbo! The wheels look schmick, my heart sank when you said your putting an auto in it... I prefer manauls, but if your going for street D for Drag i say! Is that an adjustable suspention height unit i can see in the last pic un...

Hey all, If your converting to gas you have to realise as said by subinator that you do/will need to do some head work at some stage. Dad burnt out a valve on 3 different heads before getting a gas head on my old tori (when he had it). The other thing you have to remember is that if you go purly gas...

Hey marty, i've made a spacer out of a block of wood for my car. My sisters L also has a spacer, they're both about 40mm thick... You don't want the stereo too close to the heater box, it gets pretty hot in there at times... One of my mates who is into competition sound keeps telling me how importan...
