It might be the o ring that sit inside the fuel filter cap or the cap itself cracked. That would cause the system does not have enough pressure.

Look on http://www.exedy.com.au for clutch kit info. Ask around for price for clutch kit, labour would cost you 4-5 hours depend on the mechanics.

I changed the bushes on the 00 OB all by the vice, what you need is a VERY long and strong steel pipe provided you have the HD vice.

I though that would be the self leveling shock stuffed itself but i was wrong. As Alex said it could be the spring which is compressed too much.

taza wrote:New shocks were put in only 2000km ago, if that. We had a hard time putting the rear 50mm blocks in and had to compress the rear springs almost completely to get the strut back in and bolted up.
By doing that, it might already damaged the seal and allowed the oil to leak slowly.

Contact Dave on here. He does 40mm lift blocks for Gewn 3 OB but will do a special order for 50mm (2") strut lift blocks if you ask. One of my mates is going to buy them through Dave on here. I think the price is about 350 plus postage. You can contact him here: davegibson@virginbroadband.com.au or...

Thanks guys for quick replying. I like to keep the non-HD spring, it suits me fine. Have been thinking about the 2 inch body lift kit ( no extra clearance ) or 2 inch strut lift ( 2 inch extra clearance ). I prefer the option 2 but it seems no one is making 2 inch strut top for gen 3 outback only fo...

1 inch body lift is to lower the CV angle down. I intend to put bracket under the front shock so bigger tyres can be put on. But to do that, minimum 65 mm is required and that's too much angle for CV shaft. Any ideas guys? http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/794366-post3.html trying to copy this...
