I have looked round quite a bit but cannot find a 5 speed manual gearbox in reasonable condition for my 1992 GX Liberty. Anyone got one or know anybody who has one they don't want?

early 80s I am not too sure. this cable is for late 80s early 90s, probably ej20, ej22 which is what I have. I will ring Subaru again Monday and find out exactly which models it suits/fits

just looking at my ej22 motor, looks like it will fit in the back of my GX Liberty wagon. You would have to be doing something fairly violent to make it move around.
