Engineers certificate required.
Engineers certificate is required, $350.00 plus gst is the quote I got and I'm told that is cheap. Needs cargo barrier and sealing to stop fumes and noise. Looks like the seat is going back in, damn. For a thousand dollar car its not worth it.

Thanks for that, are you in NSW and has any inspection station ever mentioned the lack of the seat. Any chances of a photo showing what you have done to cover the area, looking for ideas. Toby

Legalities
Hi, can anyone tell me what problems there could be with removing the back seat and seat belts in a 86 model LEONE sedan as far as registering the vehicle goes, I am in NSW. My plan is to cover the area behind the seat in aluminium and leave the seat out full time. Thanks for any advice, Toby

Engine cooling, or the lack of it.
I have a 86 model LEONE that is getting warm. It has just had a new thermostat and has had the radiator flushed with plenty of water flow. Still can not find the problem why it is running warm, 4mm from top of guage. No bubbles in the radiator. Is an automatic radiator larger than a manual or can a ...

Would love a map, thank you!
Hi Toby, I think these are the main waterfalls-Manning river falls on Thunderbolts road, Gummi Falls (off the Tuglow trail i think) and Gloucester Falls on the Gloucester Tops Road. the first two falls i think are well within the park so it doesnt really matter where you enter, but Gloucester Falls...

Losing brake fluid.
My 1986 LEONE, it seems to be losing brake fluid from the hill holder device. Question: can this be rebuilt? If not then how much for a new one or better still does someone have a good second hand unit sitting around? Thanks, Toby

No problems with my engine.
My vehicle rolled on with it still in gear and done no damage to the valve train etc. It was also turned over several times after coming to a stop to see if the dizzy was turning. Both times I done the belts it was because the idler bearings seazed, one due to old age and the other due being the wro...

Yeah, thats how the bearing shop described them?
NTN BRAND; 6203LLHCS25/L283QP Ok I put in one bearing which failed within 3 months. So I rang the bearing shop in Dubbo and they said about using "High Speed" bearings, so I used the above number that they supplied and they are still going strong 6 months later, no problems yet. Not sure if "High Sp...

Sounds like my engine when it done the same thing.
Yeah sounds like a timing belt, check your bearings in the tensioners when doing the job, if you replace the bearing only, do it with high speed bearings, I didn't and had to do it again within 3 months :( . A lesson learnt! Done mine from reading a Gregory's manual and had no hassles. Toby Hello ev...
