Spring seats don't work. They are so close it's frustrating. Fulcrum suspension in Bribane can make custom coil springs with any O.D. coil at the top and the bottom (different O.D.'s at the top and bottom too) which will make it work. I thought about making them a part of the kit but there is so muc...

If i'm using a lift will i be able to get away with liberty struts in my brumby or will i still have to buy forester/impreza/coil overs? it will be gen 1 liberty struts and a 3 maybe 4" lift Liberty struts will be fine with 3 or 4" lift kit. The springs and upper spring seats won't hit the insides ...

Sorry , a few more questions . I would have had the Lib backplates and cables today except I could not get the rear hub nuts off (recessed) . Can someone tell me the nut size so I can buy the correct socket to remove them . Also guesses nearside LH thread and offside RH thread on the stub axles . M...

That's terrible. Persue it for sure. What moron would do such a thing. I took my Brumby to a tyre shop years ago and they dinted the sills and the rails on my Brumby. Now I only take my wheels to tyre shops (off the car). I agree with Subalex. It's either been tied down too hard or its bobbed up and...

I got my vented rears with single piston calipers from an import wrecker. They are standard on gen 1 Legacy gts' and lots of other jdm stuff. Try EKW in Melbourne. Ask for Lou. The Gen 1 disk brake backing plates are the same for 2wd, 4wd, vented and non vented, make sure you get all the handbrake c...

It'll be fine. Everything will fit. Brumby's don't have a proportioning valve on the rear circuit but the twin piston set up works fine without one. If you find the rears are locking early with the single piston front set up (I doubt this will be the case) you may have to get some twin piston calipe...

Bugger. Surely we can dig up the stuff you need between us all on the forum. I'm considering losing the tow bar from my ute. Problem is it's a great place to put stands when I remove the rear end (happened alot lately). But there must be an unwanted one on someones garage floor. It woulndn't hurt to...

I didn't see this thread. Sorry for no input. BVCP was bang on.You only need the Impressa strut for non lifted MYs' but they are a tight fit, one person has had trouble with clearance on a lowered Brumby as far as I know. The best bet for lowered MYs' are coil overs. (good for all models L/MY , lifte...

Workshop/wrecker needed in Sydney
I'm looking for someone in the Sydney/Redfern area that can help out my cousin. She has an MY touring wagon EA81 with a blown head gasket. Would appreciate a referal or recommerndation for her as I'm from Melb and she's also from Melbourne and doesn't have any car contacts up there. It's possible th...
