Vacuum hoses (EA81 Weber Upgrade)

Am i right in assuming that since all these were connected to the original carb that they are now redundant and i can remove everyt...

Too complicated i feel. Was just looking for an easy way to stop coolant flowing into the manifold. Thanks for responses.
Will wait for new weber adapter plate to arrive and try once again. Third time lucky maybe.

Bypass water passage EA81 intake manifold.

Hi, is there a way to bypass the water passage that goes under the carby.
Can this be done by rerouting hoses or only by serious surgery which i will not attempt. Many Thanks Dave.

Adapter was branded "Redline". Please be careful if you buy this brand because it is of poor quality and like myself your engine too could be damaged using this product.

Removed adapter plate and inspected. Found flaw in the casting between water
jacket and the inside of the adapter. Thanks again for replies inspired me to look further and find the problem.

My instructions never said to reuse black spacer. New gaskets were used as supplied with kit. I will remove everything and start again.
Thanks for your replies.

Problems with carby upgrade 1990 Brumby

Installed carby started engine. Lot of coolant in exhaust system and present in inlet manifold. Would welcome a few ideas as to where the problem lies. Many thanks Dave.

Have always wanted to have a ute but owing to family constraints have to have waited until now to do so. Did not do enough background research before purchase (none) so d...
