The 3 plug ecu i ahve quite a bit of knowledge on. To begin..code 35 will not effect the performance of the vehicle,mine has run this code for long and when the egr controller solenoid is conected to the wiring loom..the code is gone...i also know that the 2 controller over boost / and boost p/hgram...

Hey jonno i noticed you mentioned vacuum advance of 10 degrees or so....and retard of 4 degrees or what ever..... it just jolted my memory,that vortex i just sold had 2 vacuum diaphrams off the dizzy piggybacked.....factor...

if you held the dilithium crystal @ 17 degrees perpendicular to uranus,it just might work scotty,um i mean jonno..:-)....um have you considered using a timing light dude?

187000k,s from original bennie,@ 1090kg,s kerb weight an sti 220kw drive line would be a very nice upgrade... 1/ question..do all vortex,s come with the re-moveable roof section as this has or is this standard? I would have proceeded with that mod had i not already been enjoying this with 15psi subi...

i would be keen to take on the vortex! even less the engine (if spikes interested) and im just around the corner in salisbury park. would be nice to get a long term project, just need to move the MY wagon... anyone want a MY almost ready for loveday $100 First one too put the cash under my nose own...

just retorque it once and go up to 55 max....47 is the spec but a tad more is ok....dont go over 55 though as this is the max thread threshold....sounds like that ea you bought suffered from no retorque...its so common on the ea engine.... lube the threads and washers when you first install the bolt...

acl / monotorque = same

Your right to be confused jonno... monotorque also have acl written on the packaging....and are still available here in adelaide.... And yes mono torques need to be re-torqued on an ea82t engine. Or you could just forget the re-torque and see how long they last on a turbo engine, but please dont for...
