Yeah ok Steptoe I have never heard of that before but your right about not being bothered with it after night shift. I did pull over this morning when it was doing its thing and take the top of the air cleaner I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary but it was idling like a busted arse and pingi...

It runs really rough and stuggles to pull its own weight when this happens. When I get back to town in the 60 zone it eventually clears itself. It has been fully serviced with new plugs leads ect but it does loo like someone has been playing with the mixture screw. Might be worth trying another carb...

Loosing power on cold mornings.

A strange thing is happening with my 92 l series I just bought. On my travels to work this week it has been loosing power and running quiet rough at about the halfway mark home. I travel 30km each way and this is only occurring on the way home after night shift when the temp is about 1 deg at a gues...

Thanks for the reply Tony I have bought the car already as it was a good buy with low kms. I will just have to either put up with the heat or have a crack at the install. There are plenty at the wreckers here in Orange I'm sure I can rape all the parts I need.

Aircon Install

Not sure if I'm in the right area but I am looking at buying a 1992 Lseries wagon but it has no aircon. My question is is this a big job to install if I were to locate one at the wreckers and remove the whole shebang and put in. I am quiet capable of doing it myself but was just wondering if it were...

Well I bit the bullet and just purchased all the parts from the outback and I'm happy to say that they all bolted up the same as the forester gear. I'm unsure if it sits at the same height as original but its a sure lot more comfortable than before. At least we all know that these parts are interchan...

Outback struts in Forester

Hi all chasing some info on compatibility with the gen 1 outback suspension and the gen 1 forester. I have just purchased a 99 gt forester and some clown has lowered it to the weeds causing a very uncomfortable ride. I have access to a gen 1 outback so my question is will the front and rear strut as...

Shortened front struts

Hi all I know that most people on this forum are into lifting there subis but I,m wondering if anyone knows if there is a shortened strut available for the front of the L series.
I know its possible to get he springs but I thought that it would need a matching strut.
Any ideas?

Thats your best bet mate. Allows you to bolt on impreza hubs, brakes and struts and will give you the common stud pattern for a wide range of 17" subaru rims.

Thanks Adam thats just the thing I was looking for.
