i checked out an carbyed L series the other week to buy. it had done 360,000 k's but had been reconditioned at bout the 300,000k mark. was running sweet

when towing a loaded trailer with mine it was fine except for the temp went up a little.

living up the hills(until recently) ive come so close to collecting a few myself.
invest in a $5 roo whistler to keep em away tho i swear they work hey.

have u tried some injector cleaner additive?
i just used some today on a kingswood which had a bad flatspot and now its accelerating perfectly.

personally i dont care if its just a blank cover but id be willing to pay for the whole package too.

i dont f/a either and would be interested in some learning too, coz soon as i get the next soob a lift kit wont be too far away.

i saw it in paper and might call him - to replace the old turbo wagon. $5k is a little steep tho - must be in good nick.

cheers for the info fellas. i still havent come across any manuals in the paper or online - within my 4k price range anyway. a few autos - my dad checked out one that was pretty good apart from $ but it also had adjustable suspension. the seller reckons it can go up like a couple inches. wouldnt eve...

and those rubber wheel arches arent really gonna do anything apart from looking terrible.

tim i didnt mean engines only specifically - i was looking for 0-100 times from for eg a stock L series with an EA82 vs EA82T or a lib with EJ20 vs EJ22 etc.
but any cars/times really.
its also just a chance for others to lie about how fast they think they can go! :P

has anyone got any acceleration times for the various engines?
it would be interesting to see the factory differences in 0-100km/h and down the quarter-mile.

yeh same happened to me when test driving some L's. like xaymaca said the rear wheels cant turn at same rate as fronts when cornering so the diff f**ks up. to get it out of 4wd: try reversing and going back n forth until it comes out - or find some gravel/sand - remember to keep the steering straigh...

im up for a trip....havent been 4x4ing in ages...just as soon as i get another subi im in...

its 3" tubing in 3 different colours!!! red blue and black!
as the name suggests u jut attach it to ur plate adaptor and then to ur pod filter with the attached hoseclamps. i think theyre about $20-$30.
