yeh your diff would be the wrong ratio and that is not good to drive on it like that. get the right diff.

plus remember if you pop your radiator down the track(like i did) its a hell of a lot easier to get a lib replacement then fix a custom $500 jobbie.
worth the little extra effort i reckon. also remember the std L series rads have different outlet and inlet sizes.

4" is the way to go. u'l have slightly less scrubbing issues.
1" suspension lift isnt worth it for the hassle of cv replacements as they wear out early

ive had my welded diff in for 2 years and still have the original cv's in the rear from when i got the car, although i had to change a boot on one once.

best offroad sooby mod ever.

brennyv had it in his liberty for a little bit. worked good offroad as youd expect. but did end up breaking the centre, but was rwd at the time (getting abused at the time) i think.
if you take it easy should last a bit longer.
