Im no expert on lift kits but basic principles will tell you that this arangement is weaker than stock. In the original setup the main bolt is fixed at both ends (one to the captive nut on the body and the other end to the bracket) so in order to move the mount you would need to distort both ends - ...

Yep honda lever, subaru used a "push" type as the cables go forward, honda uses a "pull" type as the cables go backwards toward the rear wheels, in order to retain the subaru handbrake lever you would need to either have some funky long cables or do some major work on the subaru mechanism, if indeed...

Yes - honda part is a bolt on to existing backing plate etc. Apparently the story goes that Honda and Subaru used the same brake component supplier in the 80's - hell could still be the case today, I dont know. Anyway, the Honda version on the Accord had the handbrake at the rear which is much more ...

My Rally car has the conversion done, quite simple really. Just disconect and remove all existing handbrake cables and handel etc. remove outer half of rear calipers and replace with ones with hand brake attachment from a mid to late 80's Honda Accord, also grab the Honda cables and hand brake lever...

Im getting worried it wont buff out, major damage done in three places. 1) Impact seperated passengers side engine cross member from chassis rail and split the rail wide open. 2) LR door sill is really bad, major profesional work needed their, looks like the hub needs work too. 3) RH A-pillar and ro...

They both bent the original mount at the rear of the gearbox tunnel. Seems to be the weekest point. ...

Bad day at the office..
Well... Had a rallysprint on Sunday in the EJ20G Leone that went pear shaped. Basiclly too fast into a very slippery RH open corner, slid wide and boofed the bank with the LR, doing this damage... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y165/ToyRX/CrashLR.jpg Then the FL droped into the water table hit a b...

If you are lucky you might find some old rally shocks around. Typically height adjustable 35-38mm Bilsteins. Normally would need a rebuild though. As far as camber goes you will need a kit - either a KMAC weld on bolt type for the bottom arm pivot point or if you can get some shocks with small enoug...

With the EJ20 I run in class "E", which is 4WD Pre 92. But my local club does not have a lot of class "E" cars so we run with the class "D" 4WD 92+ cars. Even with the EA82T I would be in class "E". The Sump guard is all a custom job. I built the crossmember which is 1"x2" 3.0mm RHS with 10mm steel ...

L series do not lend themselves to strut top adjustment plates due to the small clearance between the tower and the spring. KMAC's kit gets around this by slotting out the engine crossmember holes where the bottom arm attaches on each side. A excentric (spp?) bolt arangement allows adjustment inboar...
