mines a cable clutch so no master cylinder to fail.
i would love to hear from someone who actually has an early dual range to confirm that the cable ends are meant to have the loose fittings i have described. I cant find any adjustment on the cable.

early dual range gurus - help me out!
So a while back I converted my auto lib to manual. I bought a 1992 GX with only 168K on it and basically swapped the lot across. I am now trying to sort out the last few niggling issues. 1. I cant reliably select low range. i pull the lever all the way up and more often than not when I let the clutc...

no havnt heard from him but if you think he would be interested please tell him to get in touch with me. I also forgot to add that the box has a modified valve body that has increased line pressure for nice firm shifts. Mods done by Brad at western suburbs automatics. The box shifted really well. If...

QLD: Auto gearbox parts galore
Does anyone play with autos any more? I have converted my car to manual so i'm looking to get rid of all my auto gearbox parts collected over the past 10 years. Custom auto box rebuilt at 170K ($2700) and removed at 244k after the converter failed! I suspect box is contaminated with metal from the c...

Set of 6 15" Forester rims with Goodyear ATR tyres
I have for sale a set of 6 15" SF forester rims with 205/75R15 Goodyear ATR tyres. The rims have a nice wide +48 offset. I have toured extensively on these and they have been extremely reliable. I have never had a single puncture (touch wood!) Tread depth varies from 3mm (worst) to 6mm (best) There ...

Gen1 Liberty cat-back exhaust system
I have a complete exhaust system to suit gen1 liberty wagons (1989 - 1994) This system was pulled from a low kms GX liberty wagon that I am wrecking and is in excellent condition. It looks to be only a few years old. I have a heap of parts I need to get rid of so if you need anything for a Gen1 plea...

If the car is in good mechanical condition then you probably only need to spend money on suspension. A set of king springs and KYB struts will do the job for you. If you want to do some of the tougher stuff then a 2" lift kit would help too. Most of the really tough sections up there have bypass tra...
