Yeah two shitty rs turbos, with 300 k on the clock. I have seen this RS and it is very clean. Go back and complain?!?, you guys are the most negitive dudes i have ever heard, this guy is happy.

Certainly not worth $6000! Was originally an automatic too, so you miss out on the black/checker interior and have the often troublesome electro-pneumatic suspension. Hey lads, I am having similar problems with my 88 brumby. Bucking badly and sometimes stalling the car. esp when accelerating at first then it will have no power and will sometimes stall. I have fitted new sparks plugs with the correct gap, rotor, rotor cap, leads, coil, battery terminals, both fuel...

I have run on both, found the ULP ok but I get much better km to the tank on PULP and the car runs great.

Can I just remove the CV boot bandit clamp, pull the boot back back, give the joint a clean and then grease the joint with lithium moly grease?

I checked the uni joints for any play and they are rock solid, I guess the internal sliding splines are worn, causing the rattle.

Does any MY series tailshaft bolt straight in or must I find a Brumby shaft??

There is a knocking noise coming from beneath my Brumby. It happenes when she is cold, the knock speeds up as I drive and only does it when I am gear and moving. It goes away after 500m of driving.

Any advice please??

My tailshaft makes a rattling noise as I accelarate, at first I thought it was my exhaust (resonator) but after investigating it seem to be definately coming from the tailshaft.

Anyone had the same problem?
