In NSW the fine is these days is $175.00 and I hate the clowns who use them incorrectly. That being said I consider the fact that the Law is rarely enforced for such a visible offence is the ultimate in stupidity when society needs the Police being respected or feared (your choice) to have an effect...

Windscreens are not a problem as Moore glass in Sydney specialise in older vehicles and are not the Ripoffs that the more commonly known Windscreen specialists are. The last one they did for me was about 5 yeays ago for an AE86 Sprinter and was $220.00 fitted for a banded laminated screen and new Ru...

Have you considered supplying Subaru specific rust repair panels as many both here and overseas would welcome a source of repair panels to either fit themselves or supply to a good...

that offset thing is utter crap. My l-series had the speedy 14inch rims on it from new pretty much (receipts to back it up) 20 years later and with 340km on the clock (add 10% for bigger tyres its whole life) so close to 400k the car had no problems. Everything was replaced die to old age and wear ...

Possible source for new 14x6 Alloy wheels

I was checking out the performance wheels industrial catalog and they have a listing under the TX1 series wheels that includes HT HQ and Ford as well as the traditional 4WD 6 bolt pattern on the same rim model. This should mean that that rim centre is capable of being drilled for a Subie 4 x 140 stu...

Fuel cut at about 8 psi, there is a pressure sensor mounted on the inlet manifold that does this. You could try fitting a small mainjet such as keihin motorcycle CV carb jet into the hose to the sensor as the restriction will delay the pressure spike or fit a fishtank air control valve inline as well...

Firstly to clear up any misconceptions people have about 12 volt systems. 1:A battery simply means a series of interconnected cells in traditional lead acid based cells one thing is constant a single cell fully charged is actually 2.2 volts, therefore a 6 cell 12volt battery is fully charged at 13.2 ...

Has anyone heard that lifting in NSW is now very hard to do? Apparently new RTA rules say that you cant go more than 5% of original height or something. In NSW it is now Illegal to have any vehicle lifted more than a Maximum of 2 "I would expect most other states to follow sooner or later. Personal...

All please note that a 12 volt system is not actually 12 volts. A battery is a number of cells hooked together, each cell should supply 2,2 volts with automotive lead acid technology, remember all modern batteries are still just a variation such as AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt)Calcium etc. Therefore a ful...

Good thing for all to be aware of is Ethanol mix fuels will absorb water far more than normal fuel and this sort of problem is becoming more widespread.
