F/S Brumby doors/bonnet/Guards

I am in East Maitland and I have a set of white doors (in okay condition - weathered but no rust) a bonnet in good condition and guards in similar condition to the doors. I am wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing them? I am clearing out and considering taking said items to scrap met...

Bennie, it's got to go through half the block to reach the thread in the other half. How would the pin screw nut work? I have a spare block that I thought I might resurrect the engine in time. Just too busy at the moment to do a full rebuild.

Late model ea81

I'm looking for an ea81 in good condition to drop into my 1991 Brumby. I'm in Newcastle NSW. Just recently rebuilt the current engine but a block half bolt has stripped that holds the rear main crank bearing and I can't think of a way to fix it. :(

Hi Bruce. I've done a couple and it's straight forward. A little time consuming but straight forward. I can help you if you like but I can't gas the system for you - would need to find someone licenced.

I'm in Maitland NSW if you don't find someone closer.

Willy, I stole your idea.

Image

1 3/4" headers. Stainless Steel 3 90° bends and one 45° bend.

Image

And 2" cat back. 2 60° bends and 2 90° bends to complete the exhaust.

Thanks guys. I have all the bits needed except for the wiring harness and the fuel tank sender. I knew I was short A fuel tank sender but I can just fix that up whenever. I'll look out for a coupe or wagon that's getting wrecked. If anyone has the suitable parts send me a PM. Oh, and the oil pressur...

analogue touring wagon instrument cluster into brumby

Hi, I have this larger style instrument cluster I want to fit into my brumby. http://ausubaru.com.au/picture.php?albumid=230&pictureid=2290 The wiring harness is different to the traditional brumby instrument cluster. It seems two round plugs with clip in but there are the plugs below that appear no...

Weber on ea81

I have a new Weber 32/36 DGAV on an EA81. On start it is idling very high... About 2000rpm. Is there a Weber expert who can tell me the settings to start from for their setup so the car will idle. I believe it may be running too lean. The primary butterfly may be open too far too... Seems like it is...

Can the fuel pump handle not having a fuel return line? Will it burn out our should it be fine. Does the Hitachi return fuel? I'm considering getting a regulator with a bypass so the fuel pump is not working hard but pumping no fuel. Or is this silly? And I think I am getting fuel out of the vapour ...

I am in NSW. Do you want to pay postage all the way to WA? I'll be keeping the cluster surround to do the instrument cluster conversion on my Brumby.

Henpecked, it is rust free. I'll be keeping all the good parts off it... Not letting them go to scrap.

Wagon

Hi Willy, I'm still trying to sell my wagon and perhaps looking at getting a grey touring Wagon dash and adjustable steering column for my Brumby off you. You said to give you a yell if the interested buyer fell through. I thought I'd let you know but no pressure at all. You've probably forgotten an...

Hi Willy, I agree. I think I have found someone to buy the car and keep it as is. I'm off on holidays now so I've taken it off Gumtree. I'll see if the interested party decides to buy it otherwise I'll list it up mid December when I get back. And I'd be interested in that dash and steering column of...
