James, the other guy bought the car but he may get in touch with you about some of the things you are chasing.

1985 Turbo Sedan (RX) + host of extras **SOLD**

Unfortunately after years of procrastinating I've realised I'm never going to finish my Turbo sedan and I now need the room for a growing collection of other things. Before you read any further, this is a job lot sale, I am not interested in breaking things down or selling individual items - sorry b...

The car is from all accounts good but certainly underpowered compared to the standards expected today. This. I was talking to someone who has worked in the automotive industry for near 40 years who has recently taken delivery of one and considering how excited they were, their reaction surprised me...

The rx5 is nice... Those brumby wheels look good also, haven't seen them before in the crappy stud pattern we are cursed with. They look similar to superlites though seller says they are something different. They're Panasport wheels, made in the States and now impossible to find and they're actuall...

As an aside, has anyone tried running the rear suspension off the Liberty that allegedly fit?
Obviously they would open up a host of options to use coilovers for even more adjust-ability.

There's a couple of RX Turbos on Gumtree. One in Tassie - http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/nunamara/cars/subaru-rx-intercooled-turbo/1001757252 Fitted with an "interesting" intercooler and rough - $1500. The other is actually Turbo Sedan or not - auto but with boot spoiler! In Mt Barker South Aust $32...

Edit: Looking back at the Ebay ad, it appears this is just the local 2WD model (Gen3 Ver1).. would be good for Jules to take the kiddy winks to school in :)
That's what I thought and was surprised it was 2wd.

Well wait no longer Guy.. nice price for a R/C car. Good luck keeping up :) But to clear it up for others.. the model is of the WRC version of the Subaru Impreza. The WRC is like the 22B in the fact that it has the 'pumped' guards but the WRC was only 2.0ltr for homoligation. The 22B was release as...

22b or 2 door sti?

hard to see if its got the pumped guards of a 22b.
As it's the rally version, it would only be a 2 door sti as the 22B didn't fit WRC regs.

Nah.. EN05/07 is not Daihatsu.. it's been a Subaru engine from day 1. It was a replacement for the EK (2cyl) engines.. also Subaru. They are an awesome power to weight ratio engine and during the mid 90s they had a great rally following in Japan. This would be the only S/C'd Rex that I know that ha...

EA82T wiring loom

I've finally given up on trying to get the rx to run with the haltech ecu, so I'm going to start again with the factory unit.
Unfortunately the original engine loom was used as a donor for the haltech loom so I need a replacement. Anyone have one they'd like to sell or know where I could find one?

This looks like it could be a good buy for someone in Victoria, although looking at the interior it's not an RX but a Turbo sedan that has been converted to manual.

It is an IVP.

The biggest problem I see the current Vbulletin board is that there isn't even a text list of functions and unless someone knows that or [ quote ][ /quote ], etc, are the commands for that specific function then they are in the dark on how to utilise it.

I will look at what I can do about photo editing but I really don't think there will be much, if any I can do. Can I suggest maybe quick link buttons for the post/reply window? So a button for photos which then wraps your url to your photobucket or whatever image hosting site people use in . One fo...

Top Gear UK just mentioned an English website which lists how many register vehicles, manufacturer/model/transmission are still on the road in England and it makes for depressing reading for the RX Turbo, actually most interesting 80s Subarus. There hasn't been an RX Turbo registered in England sinc...

I thought the hose with the red circle was just a breather that usually points at the bell housing and the one encircled by blue is the hose to the passenger side rocker cover.

Your best bet would be to contact Haltech direct.
