lovey80 that sounds like the perfect set up :D
What gearboxes did you combine to achieve all that?
I have a wrx box in there at the moment & a 5sp L series box as spare.
What center difflock did you use?
Would love to find out more about it;)

Thanks for the advice. At the moment I'm leaning towards an awd dr box as the car will spend most time on road and will hopefully source out a viscous center. Bit more pricey but on the other hand I wouldn't need an adapter plate or to modify much in the interior hopefully. Would any dr gearbox from...

4wd vs Awd. Best set up for Brumby ej20t

I know there have been discussions on this before but it is hard to get some clear answers. Basically I'm building up David’s (D3V1L) brumby project. It has an ej20t with a wrx gearbox currently. I'm working on my own custom (and cheap) rear brake conversion at the moment and will post more on that ...

Thanks for the help every one & that picture from point is a lot clearer. Seems the key component in the package is the 5 stud adapter with the brumby splines on the inside. Point would you happen to know what the going rate is for a rear conversion kit? & yes steptoe the handbrake is on the inner d...

Thanks TOONGA, I will have to send them an email. I checked it out and not entirely sure what the kit would include. Would that mean I could bolt on wrx rear brakes? Or would it still be using the brumby axle splines & run vortex disks? The pictures aren't too clear on the site. Cheers, Ma...

Wrx Brumby - Rear handbrake & some Qn's..

Hi I don't normally post but I have been on this forum for a while now. Basically I had a standard brumby for about a year and was preparing for the typical ej22 swap. Then I bought D3V1L (Dave's) brumby with an ej20t. -->This is the car http://ausubaru.com.au/showthread.php?t=17015&highlight=d3v1l ...
