G'day, you might find petrol engine pistons too light for a diesel. Remember diesels run 17:1 or more compression, I doubt pitbike ones will stand the stress. Everything has to be heavier as a result. 2 Stroke diesels also use an exhaust port in the barrell, only one valve for an inlet. Might be ea...

In among this lot are 60mm pistond kits for 19.99 each plus 7.99 postage, who knows, maybe you can combine shipping and have a full set for $120? Are these suitable? It appears as though all 150cc pit bikes have 60mm pistons, cheap and plentiful. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Piston-Rings-Kit-Set-Lifan...

The Patrol pistons might be a little large, td42 Patrol is engine 96mm bore. OP is aiming for total engine capacity of just under a litre (981cc) made up of five cylinders, five of those big suckers would make a 3.5 litre engine.

Ok, let's do a little detective work......the road surface, texture and colour is remarkably like the road I live on, as are the granite rocks, so could very well be local, the African lovegrass is about as dry (frost bitten) as it is on my property and is also confined to the Monaro/Snowy region I ...
