Just email Tony, who contacted me and ask. No harm in getting the sedans breakdown as well.

just the fact they say they already knew the info and the fact the thread has been going since 2005.

I'm not fussed. At least I know mine is one of 83 white RS wagons.

Here is a good article comparing Forester to RAV and XTrail. Is Up to date and has heaps of info about the Forry in there.

Thanks for the comments. The mags are factory off a 2005 RS Impreza. I like them because they are a bit different. I sourced a set of standard mags for it just so there is one more original item if I ever wanted to go back to them.

Its been a good project bringing it back to decent condition with a lot of help from gx-rex we finally finished it (except we still need to paint and fit the side skirts). http://farm6.static.flickr.com/51...

Its my car that gx-rex and I have been working on for 12 mths or so. Just needs side skirts painted to be finished. Picked up the plates for it today and can't stop driving it. It's fairly stock except a TD05, 3" TBE and a boost controller. Wagons are the ultimate sleeper. Also do you have a higher ...

but in this apllication you dont want them to bend. a bent bolt will lead to destroying the suspension and they shouldn't be able to snap if installed correctly ive priced it up, real 8.8 bolts for what i can see will cost alone about 200$ True, I was talking more generally. I ran into the grade of...

8.8 grade bolts arent that expensive and the higher the grade does not necessarily mean they are better for all purposes. Higher grade of bolts are generally more brittle (ie don't bend, they snap) and can't handle multiple directions of pressure as well. There is always a balance for whatever appli...

Yeah the standard GX wheels from a Gen 1 Liberty are 14s and they don't fit over Gen 1 RS Lib or GC8 2 pots (have tried).

Love the pic of the ride height with your lib in the background. Really shows how much work has gone in. Certainly like nothing else I have seen.

Good work and take plenty of pics and vids of it's first sand trip in anger.
