You won't fit the Liberty radiator with the Liberty fans. The engine bay is not long enough. Vortex is a different story. I would suggest talking to an engineer in your area about fitting the EJ radiator and having to modify the radiator support panel. It is nothing to do with the crumple zone on an...

I fail to see where there was mention of 4000rpm in Subamans post. It was simply a quick run down on how the vlsd system works. With lockers you can crawl over things, sure, crawling is not always the best way to approach things when 4wding. Wheels will spin no matter how many locked bits you have a...

Can you build the control arms in the template brumby and then fit them later? Have you got all the new gauges yet? Ive got the time right now to rewire it. If it is January then I would make the time.

Personally I would simply copy what Brumbyrunner has done to his box and be done with it. If you get stuck with a box like that then you need driving lessons more than you do locking bits.

Roos don't have a lot of suspension travel and jacking them up and fitting big diameter wheels doesn't help because they no longer fit up inside the wheel wells . Have you ever owned a lifted Subaru with bigger wheels fitted? For someone that seems to be very knowledgeable you know jack shit when I...

Are you doing ECU at the same time as the rewire? Or are you just wanting the ancillaries rewired just now? Did you end up getting the fuel pick ups changed on the tank? Are we going to run the time fuel pumps and get rid of the surge tank now too? Better/bigger intercooler and ducting? I got the pi...

It is near the Christmas break of the school year. The students have turned in all their work and there is really nothing more to do. All the children are restless and the teacher decides to have an early dismissal. Teacher: "Whoever answers the questions I ask, first and correctly can leave early t...

I was just thinking that you can mount the generator outside the container, fit a few recliner lounges and some sat TV so the pit crew has some thing to do while you're racing. Oh, did I mention reverse cycle air con? After all we are going to have your car so reliable we will just be there to spect...

They look great. I don't know if it is the same wheels or not but you used to be able to buy a Cheviot Turbo wheel in a 13 for subies.

I was informed that at the last meeting it was suggested that the club has its' own forum separate to this one. I don't mind either way. We will see how it goes for a while. If it doesn't work I can always change it back.

Oil reserves, a must read!!

There is an email doing the rounds at the moment about the oil reserves in the US. I have attached it here. It sort of enforces the thought that we are constantly being ripped off for fuel. Take the time to visit the links at the bottom of the page. [font="]Here's an interesting read, important...

I have spoken to a few people that have it and they are very happy with the results. I considered it myself for my 04 and would probably have gone that way if I hadn't decided on a different car.

Congratulations Brumbyrunner

The results have been posted for the Tri-series offroad racing. Brumbyrunner won the championship for Extreme 4wd vehicles with a total of 378 points. Second place went to Rob Chapman in his Pajero with a total of 279 points. Brumbyrunner (Stuart and Jim) came a very respectable 7th outright for all...
