I've been running the Liberty AWD running gear and it's fine. As you said it doesn't have a lot of torque and you're only going to break gear boxes if you drop the clutch. I have 350HP and it's lasted 5 years without an issue. The only thing I would say is use the liberty running gear if you can or ...

yeah I still own the Leone Coupe with the 13bt in it and yes it's the one on youtube. And yes it's a rotary despite what the YouTube peanut gallery say. It's a series 5 13b turbo with adaptor plate running a liberty 5 spd awd box, wrx rear diff and four wheel discs. For all the poo hooing, it's a cr...

i did the whole moulded carpet thing in my coupe and paid the money then cursed as i cut it out with my mum's best sewing scissors to find it lumpy and didn't fit. joke was I ended up take it to a motor trimmer who made all the carpet fit himself (not the mould) and it only cost me $100 more than th...

I had an 85 amp alternator on my ea81.

Had a Nissan Bluebird casing with EA Falcon internals. Had to make a small spacer for the alternator mount and bingo had an 85 amp alternator in my coupe for next to nothing.

Make sure they're both BOSCH units as the stuff transfers across.

thanks for all your help guys yes tim is spot on. volvo pump supplies the engine. The return does go back to the surge tank. I think like tim described the subaru fuel pump is just going nuts with the full time running and just overheating and dying. If i let the car sit and fuel pump cools down, it...

I wouldn't really classify my car as a 5 seater car.

I think people in the 80's were much smaller than us now lol 3 people in my car is enough!

I keep killing fuel pumps

As you know I'm running a rotary in my car, but still got a weird problem you might be able to help me with? The fuel system in my car is as follows. Tank to standard MY subaru fuel pump to 1.3 litre surge tank. Volvo pump from surge tank to engine. I wouldn't think the actual labour on the subaru f...

you make a strong argument.

a boxer sound is still enough to tent my pants, but it's different.

you can't really say one is better than the other. a rotary on full song sounds just as horn and tuned as a boxer. but it's just different.

answer - own both for me ;)
