well if anyone in bris needs a hands on look at these ones let me know.

I'm both north and southside for work/home. can have a ride if you want to see the improvment in the downhill end of the tacho :p I'm sure if used to a std setup, the difference will be more than obvious.

they only cost me about 250, but I was expecting it to be more.

this was from noyzworx in bris which I think are no more?

they've done awesome work at good prices on a few things now. They did exactly what I needed in this case, without hassle.

sorry xtreme, somehow missed your post there the pipe size is: just shy of 1 3/4in OUTSIDe diameter merging into a 2.5inch OUTside dia pipe up the turbo. so not certain what i/d would be but someone who knows what sort of pipe the exh probably used for such a task might know the wall thickness. it's...

if you had a like new (and I mean like new) front bumper as part of an exhange, I know someone with a great bullbar he'd love to get rid of

problem is his car the most immaculate L series ive ever laid eyes on so he won't settle for a sub par bumber in return ;)

jono - works a charm!

schulzie, like suba said, not unless you make them equal length. Mine is more boxer sounding / rex sounding than before, losing most of the 'tractor sound' associated with that motor, and sounding more like a rex instead.

think I posted these ages back on old forum. if you' chasing power, something like this is the best thing since sliced bread. Prettymuch mandatory really, not just bigger pipes, but the merging design. I had alll sorts of troubles with the stock pipes, it was extremely obvious they were trouble on t...

yeah unfortunatly it just doesn't work like that. I'm running 12-13psi on a 7.7:1 turbo engine, but because of the overall setup, and power being made it's pretty much all I'll get out of it reliably. Like I've said before, people have gone down the turbo'd NA enigne path before on USMB - they made ...

EA82T head gaskets are different. (differnet material i belive)

I think also, the piston to bore (or something along those lines) Tolerences are tighter, when reading through the engine rebuild data.

odd.

Well with a malpassi rising rate reg, I can tell you the standard injectors are good for a lot more than you'll be needing at 7psi. not sure at standard fuel pressure however.

Having read the attempt on USMB, id consider it a waste of time if you just want power. you'd be better off putting the benefits of intercooling into the standard comp.. you'll get much better and more reliable results. The engine isnt efficient enough to work well with high compression+boost. If yo...
