pressure switches on drivers side strut tower join to the loom but where do the vaccume/boost lines go to? inlet manifold? turbo intake? Intake manifold - after the throttle butterfly - the switches measure actual boost reaching the engine. throttle cable reaches but when peddal is fully off intake...

if this switch is not set up on your fuel injected soobi..be prepared for higher fuel usage

yep original A/C system is still in place bar compressor which is EJ.
That was my original question - does the EA controller work OK without the rotation sensor connected ? (sounds like it does)

What do you guys do about the absent rotational sensor if using the EA controller with the EJ compressor? Does it just work anyway ?

Actually, with the EA82T's it doesn't seem to matter. Lots of people run without swapping over to the dash cluster that has the speed sensor, or building in a sperate speed sensor.

I'm not totally sure that there isn't a "uses more fuel" issue, but I don't think there is.

Not sure about the in and out fuel pipes on that engine, but you will be able to tell by looking at which one connects to the fuel pressure regulator. The other "?" one is the vacuum line to the tank - if you leave it open, there will be un-metered air entering the intake manifold and that might exp...
