weber doesnt have an idle stop solenoid.
if you have high compression and hot pistons it will diesel

retard your timing a bit see if it makes a diff.

im agreeing with jaffa. to get that right will be more like $1500

sale price i reckon would be around $2g tops for a 85 bitzer.

Leave it there is my opinion as you need to recover money for your time as well if you want to make a profit...

um, it actually came out really easy....

ive got 2x black wires which i am assuming are the pre-heaters and also a black wire which would be the o2 sensor output.

Correct?

ok i just measured it.
its not cycling betwwen 0-0.9v as it should so im saying its dead.

new one on the way $110

just gotta get the b@stard out then.

Our my99 foz has decided to increase its fuel consumption slowly over the last 10,000ks we where getting 8-9L/100 out of town sitting on 100 fully loaded. now its down to about 11-12L. Somethings obviously wrong.... As its around town doing lots of stop/start driving 95% of the time an ecu reset mig...

Im all inspired now. I just won a USB gps on ebay :)

Gunna get a new laptop so i can stick the old asus centrino under the seat in the prado... just got to find a touchscreen cheap now

Rockwell is software side of AB, yes hard to implement for the non-experianced. But robust & proven with solid backup. I have no idea why you think its fragile. ABB/honeywell are pretty much of a muchness.. Dont really go much for either when it comes to controllers. Use lots of both brands field devices IMO The grand daddy of DCS is rockwell automation's factory talk model. This seems to be the way most are heading now.. http://www.ab.com/viewanyware/enter...

that would be ODBC and OPC CE doesnt really lend itself to process control as it comes in pocket PC form, although it can be done. yes i have software to do it.
