True the 4eat's are all 3.9 and will also be larger than the 3 speed ea auto. If the turbo auto ea box is really an original turbo box it will also have larger stub axles and it will be 3.7 ratio only. The US got a 3.9 in their early turbo wagons. To solve the issue with the larger stub axles you ca...

Great meeting you Bennie had a blast and would love to explore more of the area with a better turbo and 3500 rpm stall. I was using fuel at an average of 25l/100 on the dirt and the rd trip back is using 12/100. We are in a cabin in Coona with one day to go and down to 5 cars in convoy. Btw still lo...

If you have the money buy WRX ones they are rubber but not liquid filled and have lasted a few good hard hits without issue. Nolathone ones Lasted me less than a Year and lasted in Outback blokes can about a month.

Great they offer a superior white light but as mentioned by Suparoo you will need to adjust the light. Most HID conversions kits come with a a set of 3 globe adjusting screws, once the HID is fitted you adjust the 3 screws so the light spread is the same as the previously fitted globe. This can take...

Unbolt the strut at the base and check it with a straight edge for a bend. If nothing else looks wrong it could be the strut.

I ran my EA82T with 17psi. I have an WAIC, the engine had about 16000kms on it after full reco and lasted that way for about 12months before it let go. I didnt drive it at full boost everywhere during that time but i gave it a boot full every now and then.

Agrred with the fact that the AC adds a couple of L/100 to the tally but seriously would'nt you rather travel in comfort that sweat it out?

As for Ac stumbling when on i vote another on the Vac pipes to the solonoid.

As a note that most of you are not aware of is that after about 96 Subaru changed the design of the pitch rod and as a result they made them from plastic so cutting and welding is now no longer an option. An as a further result steel ones are getting harder to come by.
