On a 4plug ECU it will throw a code at you for not having a knock signal if you disconnect or have a broken wire to the knock sensor on the block,as well it may fatten up the fuel mix as a precaution. If you have a 3 plug ECU the knock is controlled separate to the ECU by a small box in the PS side ...

I have had both autos in use in offroad conditions and found they both work pretty well. They where both used in my series one liberty wagon (the blue one i had) it came with the std NA auto box and all i did was add a load resistor to switch the duty C solonoid so i didnt get roused at by the auto ...

I have an Atmo on my RX and the noise is annoying and i get some good back fires from the raw fuel dump in the pipe when changing gears somtimes. I will get around to a plumb back when i swap to the spidey manifold

When you lift the L series the lever is made to sit higher than normal not lower. The gear lever is pushed forward

The post says 91 wagon it dont specify weather its a Liberty or a leone but the libertys spare wheel is located under the floor in the rear not in the engine bay as on previous models

Dont know what ECU setup you are using but if it is OEM subaru early 3 plug type then you can just unplug the O2 sensor as it will then not fatten up the mix thinking its lean, later ones and libertys work the other way (no sognal must be lean). Generally if it has an OEM setup the water temp sender...

I have the 15x7s with the 215R 15s on them that Brett is on about and they fit "just" i had to do some massaging of the metal to make them fit without continual rubbing. As for the spare size it pretty much not that bigger than stock unless you want to have it in there deflated but they type of tyre...
