so i've done a few things the most important thing is a decent stereo, so i have stripped my gear out of my liberty and transplanted it. It is a rather large system so its taken a bit of time to do it properly http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n38/little_alex87/20160724_095718_zpshlk58wrd.jpg http:...

Yay welcome back Alex. I'm quite a fan of the Gen4s. When I get too fed up with bumping around in the rattly old L series I'm pretty sure that's what I would move into. Certainly more room would be handy with the two baby seats. You're right, I'd probably go with a different driveline but you won't...

Hey Bennie, no mods planned at this stage - do baby seats count? Perhaps some lifted springs in the future but i really want to keep this one neat. I'll just be doing the normal maintenance stuff at this stage, have already done a complete cooling system overhaul (not necessary) but it just gives me...

They were good times - the forum was loads busier than it is now, not entirely a bad thing but a bit more "traffic" and having several active projects on the go is always good though. What are those boys up to anyway? Cheers Bennie Those times have bonded some pretty strong friendships - i dont thi...

i had an outback same as yours, although i never fitted more than 1 seat, i did note there are three anchor points in the roof of the car and i cant see too much difficulty in fitting three baby seats across the back seat.

sounds like its time for a landcruiser haha!

Alex the struts went in a treat and have made jetcar way better to drive (thanks for holding onto them and the great price as well) the steering is lighter, the ride is way smoother and there is no bottoming out when I hit a bump or pothole on the road. The biggest problem was getting the balljoint...

I'm wondering how a set of these tyres would go in sand - dig holes too much or get the float up well? I'm only asking as this is one thing I'm a bit nervous about with the upcoming trip. I had a great set of all rounder tyres in the Wild Conqueror Super Trippers  Then they got old and wen...

I'm paying around $1.75 in Perth here for BP 98... I know up home(in the bush of WA lol) I'd be paying $2.00 for octane 98 fuel. It's just stupid... I will be looking at getting motorbike or postie bike(110cc or 250cc) for the easy of day to day traffic and for fuel economy. Even while getting 9l t...
