im actually quite imptressed with my auto gen2 outback at first i thought it slipped a lot BUT after some fresh oil and some care it has come gtood and i love it!!! definertly not going manual like i first thought i weould need to. even with much bigger tyres it handles them great dave Got any pics...

I'm contemplating my next car, thinking about getting an Outback as I've seen gen2's advertised for under 10grand. Most of them are auto's though, are there any problems with these? Manual is preferred of course but I'm getting a bit partial to not having to change gears... Just don't want a slushbo...

I've got a Gen2 RX wagon that I want to put a lift kit on, get bigger tyres and maybe get a Dual range box for it, maybe turbo it later on. Should I just sell it and get an outback? I'm guessing maybe $1200 for suspension and tyres. Whats a D/R AWD g/box worth for one of these?
