Was definately a 32/36 Early Weber. It was a mint find indeed. Purchased from Andrew who used to grace these forums. No choke. Never got cold enough for it here. Nothing an idle for about 10 seconds couldn't resolve. A mate also had a weber'd EA82 L. Similar economy figures, he drove pretty much lik...

Hmm. My Weber is at 10l/100km on the highway and about 12l/100km normal driving. What gearbox ratio was this at? Mine was a 3.7, and high speed touring (100km/h) required 4 <-> 5 shifting... 17L is mixed figure of touring and sydney city driving. I must stress though, that I did used to love hearin...

I loved my L series. Don't get me wrong, I do love them to death. But I do think, for touring, with the L kitted up the way it was, the 3.7:1 gearing sucked. It was too tall for touring. I was constantly in and out of fifth and fourth gears, trying to maintain 100km/h... I'd be looking at liberty. S...

On sunday? With a bike rack on the back? That was me! Yes it had the bike rack on the back. I was driving past in my GF's car, but no one to be seen around it. What brings you to around my neck of the woods? I've also seen your car a couple of times parked near the M7 Head Office on Wallgrove Road ...

Spotted - RX Leone...

Eastern Road, Rooty Hill. Parked up on the sports fields carpark, across the road from the Olympic Baseball field.

Lifted, five stud hubs. Looking good.

I miss my L *sniff*

That would have been I. I was referring to RSLC's "ROC" Basically, the RS Liberty Club convene together annually in Canberra to exchange parts, banter, booze and cruise. It traditionally was held along with the actual ROC, but It was decided that little to no time was spent actually viewing the rall...

Weber -

Pro's = Significant power increase
Con's = Aprox. 17L/100km

You'd have to weigh up want you want.

My 206kw GTB does 12L/100km...

I missed out on ROC as well, it was the weekend we had booked the booth to paint the thing. I was quite disappointed, seem like a rather eventful weekend. Also I tried to jump on the ACTRSLC site a couple of weeks ago for the first time in a long time, but no go. Do you know what happened to it Ale...
