Goodbye, good luck and thank you

I've been a member of this forum since I bought a Brumby in 2005. I've gained a lot of good information from various members. Unfortunately (for me), the Brumby has gone to a new home so now I must leave the forum as I'm no longer a Subi owner. Maybe down the track I'll be lucky enough to again own ...

The most expensive Brumby ?

Probably not as I've seen guys with full conversions spend $60k then ask $7.5. Mine is a 1990 with the original engine at 220ks. Lift kit, Weber, 14" wheels, other mods too numerous to list. I've just spent $2500 in new front suspension and a heap of other stuff and it not goes like a rocket and goe...

Haven't got the official number but it was just an ordinary filter about 50mm long, in and out either end. Changed it a couple of times. over the years. I put a new fuel pump in and gave the key one turn and it fired up first go. Drove around the block to "try it out" as we do. What a difference a ...

Sell My trusty Brumby is up for sale

I've had this 1990 model for about 7 years and am sad to part with it but have had an offer of a new vehicle that I just can't refuse. It has many mods and repairs and I believe is in great running condition. It has been serviced regularly by Barry at East Perth Subaru (last serviced 5/11/12). Mods/...

And yes, you can't go wrong with Suttons drill bits - just a pity I can't get them at a discount rat...

I'd describe my Brumby as better than half decent but I'm biased. Still not convinced that I'll get rid of it but let me know if you want a look. I'm in Mt Pleasant.
