That's why I said "pretty much". It's aimed at people who want a brake upgrade, hence they named it a brake conversion kit. Stud pattern change and different wheel selection is more of a happy bi product. Bit overkill to do a full brake and hub conversion with the sole purpose of running different w...

May as well throw in my experience along the same lines. I've had this issue plaguing me in my L series for so many years and maybe it too is related to rear diff. Trouble is, it's followed me despite replacing all related parts, including the entire car! Not too much bunny-hopping, but perhaps I am...

Why would a body lift kit affect the CV joints or make it drive like shit in any way? It shouldn't. Is it a proper full lift kit or just strut top extenders? If the CV joints are clicking on full lock then they are faulty (new or not). The size of the wheels wouldn't make any difference to this. If ...

I queried that once, was told to keep my messages by cutting and pasting them into MS Word heh.
Seriously though, for this forum these days do you really send/receive enough messages for it to be a big problem?

So there is an idling issue - what makes you jump to the headgasket as the likeliest culpret? Are the spark plugs the only things that have been checked? Couple of quick thoughts: - Check if the ECU is complaining about anything (not sure how this is done with an EA82 one or if possible). Perhaps a ...

Ben nah really overall it's quite easy and can be done in a day. You wouldn't want to just do the strut tops, without lowering the gearbox with the other blocks it will put your CV joints at too wide an angle. It doesn't take long to fit a full kit. If your kit is missing the steering extension then...

Neither requires extended brake lines, although it's advisable with the 3" as there isn't much slack left in them after fitting, but still fine. I ran 3" lift on original brake lines for years with heaps of wheel lifting offroad abuse, no problem. Agreed, same work for either. You'll also need a bit...

still seems worth trackng down what the issue is rather than just swapping the entire driveline and deleting the offroad capabilities. also why think about selling it and just keeping the concept mentally? Surely being able to drive the concept is better :)

that's blood good. simple idea, universal, and apparently the quality is there. My L Series touring wagon windows all still work perfectly at the moment and I have two complete sets of spares too so I'm kindof disappointed I won't get to try one of these new kits out lol.

Which part is shorter than yours? The front section or the rear section? If it's the front section then maybe the rear sections are the same length as each other? You can probably easily unbolt them to swap around if your issue is just with the rear section.
