hi everyone im thinking about buying a l series wagon but the engine needs a new rear main seal, and oil pump.how hard(and expensive is this to fix)

hey 90sports how much work would be needed for it to pass rego?

i had a look at the engine today but i am a little confused.i am not the most mechanical smart person and i could not find the thermostat.where is the thermostat positioned.also i had a look at the water pump.what signs to i look for if the water pump is broke.
