i got an 85 subaru with an 1800 ea82 engine and it broke the drivers side timing belt now we have to chang both where are the timing marks and how do i time it first suby ive done ive done heaps of other cars

it has a miss in the left head its like when the left piston comes up its like it pushes air into the other chamber and when it comes up it go back and forth
do subaru's usualy blow head gaskets or what do think it is it has spark
