Hey guys, I might be able to come along but will have to get a lift with someone as I don't have an off-road subi at the moment. Don't worry, can push a car with the best of 'em. Paul and Jules, might be a good opportunity to drop in at mine and have a look at my brumby so a plan of attack can be fo...

Brumby Door Weather Strips

Hi All, Was hoping that someone out there has a set (ie both doors) of weather strips for a Brumby in A1 condition. By weather strips I mean the strips that sit on top of the door and form a seal between the window and the door. Hope that made sense:). Most I have seen have been eaten by the sun and...

Storing my Brumby

Hi All, Long story short, have just sold my house and it looks like I will be 'between houses' for a while as I will be helping to care for a relative who is very ill. I have a brumby project car that I need to find a home for due to the place I will be staying at wont have the room for it. Does any...

Hi Guys, There was an add on gumtree where the bloke was selling loads of brumby parts and I think he was located in Busselton? Went to look for it today to get his number but the add had been taken down or expired. Is that anyone on this site or did anyone buy some stuff off him and has his number?...

Bash Plate Question

Hi All,

Quick question - would a bash plate off a 2002 forester fit onto a 1999 forester? Ie are all the mounting points the same etc?

Cheers,
Corax.

EOI Fiori

Hi All, By parents are going to get rid of their Fiori. Details are... 1992 5 speed, 170,000kms, new tyres, straight body, licenced until 12/12. Gets about 5.3l per 100km. Serviced regularly and mechanically sound. Think of it as a motorcycle with panels and you get the idea:). Cheap way to get to w...

First of all, condolences to all affected by this horrible event. Its always tough to lose someone you know and the unexpected manner of Ben's passing makes it seem even more senseless. The only thing that I would like to say in regards to this event is that if we have to cull sharks that take a hum...

Thanks for the info Paul. So you are saying that it would basically be useless for the bog standard ea-81? Shame if thats the case. Might have to hang it on the wall of the shed then myself or 'straight to the pool room'. Awesome piece of engineering.

No air cleaner setup, but still not bad for less than $100, and no to be completly honest it wont be going on a car anytime in the near future, but I pretty much have a shed filled with rare MY series stuff which I will drop onto my next brumby. Its not a question of 'if' but 'when' I get another st...

Yeah thats the one Jules. Bloke reckoned he had it totally rebuilt when he got it as he was going to drop it onto his brumby, but he wrote his brumby off before he could do it and its been sitting in his shed for years. Thats what he told me anyway. Come round and have a look if you want, you know a...

EA81 Twin carb Setup

Hi All,

Just wondering as to how rare and how valuable (if at all) a twin carb setup is for an ea81? Picked one up today fairly cheaply and in A1 condition. Info please?

Cheers,
Corax.
