I don't want it to be a Patrol, I want it to be a Brumby that is as good off road as any other modified 4WD, trust me if I wanted a patrol id buy one, I like to be different

Mate I have all my standard brumby stuff laying around from my 5 stud convert, struts, springs, control arms, caster rods, etc

You can have my front struts which arnt leaking and seemed to be in good condition when I pulled them out for 50 bucks plus freight;)

Ok so small update, I started working on my ute today and was planning on spending the whole day on it seeing as its our show holiday but got side tracked helping the Mrs clean up my parts room after the cat pissed on the tarp I had down to protect the carpet. has any one got the workshop manual for the L series they can send to me, I cant seem to find it anywhere googled it, searched this forum etc, but nothing, need to put the transfer case back together on my gearbox

well I'm officially disappointed, I finished assembling the front struts in the ute and got the cross bred steering adaptors worked out, went to fit them to the car and found that they wont fit with the lift block on top of the strut, apparently there's not enough movement in the bottom ball joint t...

Could quite possibly be a wheel bearing, SG9 forester + humming noise usually = W/Bearing.

Get it taken to a reputable mechanic and get then to diagnose it... Where is the car located?

it is series 1 liberty 5sp manual (obviously) D/R. Convert was a piece off piss, I'm a subaru mechanic by trade so I've split a few subi boxes in my time lol
