Hi, I need to replace the struts in the rear of my Gen 3 Outback (ltd), which are self levelling. I can't quite afford the $650 for each strut Subaru is asking for, so I'd like to use a standard strut. Hey naca-yoda, I am fairly sure that it is only the limited models which have self-levelling rears... I could be wrong! And yes I am "shocked" too that subaru's price for the fronts is cheaper, I will get to the bottom of that today and let you know! Does anybody know whether the self-levelling stru...

Hi Guys, Just new to the forum so G'day... I am in exactly the same situation as naca-yoda. Didn't realise the stock struts are made by KYB. Got a quote from Burson for $237 each front strut and $132 each rear, KYB. Subaru want $160 for the fronts and (sit down) $650 for each rear, which in my case ...
