Definately is a scary thought knowing that theres no physical connection from the steering wheel to the rack. Then they have to make everything fa...

Those temp switches give trouble a fair bit. Good way to check that your wiring/ relay/ thermofan are all in working order is to just take the yellow wire off the sender and earth it out ( touch it on the closest metal component that it will reach) and if your thermo fan kicks in then it is most lik...

Im back.. But with a new project!

G'day all, After selling the ej converted/ lifted wagon, i somehow drifted away from ausubaru. :( shortly thereafter i bought an 01' b4 which has been my daily driver for the last 6 months. Usually just the nut in the centre of the wheel, then hold the wheel at 9 and 3 o'clock and give it a good rhythmic tug either way.. (note: this may take a minute or so)

This is a pretty common thing.. The earth that your using for the cd player, is actually the illumination wire. While the parkers are turned off, that wire will test as a ground wire but when said lights are turned on, it becomes a live wire. Just tape that wire up and earth the cd player wire to a ...

Yeah, I've seen Gen 3 B4's over here for a measly NZ$7000 and the NZ dollar is only .8 of the Australian dollar! Tomorrow the girlfriend and I are going tandem on the canyon swing, then bungee jumping perhaps. Have taken plenty of photos, mostly of cars but got a few of the complimentary scenic shot...

Queenstown, New Zealand.. Subaru capital?

Just arrived in Queenstown this morning and i'm completely blown away with the amount of Turbo'd Legacy's/ B4's. Seen plenty of gen3 B4's in absolute rats#*t condition and have only seen one N/A legacy all day. Plenty of 'omega' touring wagons. (L series) :D

What we've done before at work as requested by the owners. Get a second hand remote, say from the wreckers for 1/10 of the price of a new one. Disassemble it, use the old remote but put the buttons and button pads out of the second hand unit.

Its just a big roll of rubber flaring and you get say 5 metres, then trim to size. It has a small lip on it so you can easily screw to the underlip of the guard.
