I get the horrible sense that if i ever put the tailgate down and stood on the rear of the tray, it would kick back like a box trailer. Those rear wheels are almost a central pivot point. haha :D

when i did mine, i thought i'd covered everything before i started the conversion but you'll definately find little things that you didn't think of. * EA Flywheel with holes elongated to suit EJ pattern. * Transfer the Gearbox mounting studs from the EA to the EJ (or aquire new longer ones) * If you...

Should be a fairly straight forward thing to do if your handy with a few tools and a test light? You have to ask yourself a few things beforehand though.. like do you want them to turn off with the ignition off like the standard lights? do you want them to be controlled by the highbeam switch? (if t...

Yepp definately what suparoo said above. ^^ We had the support modified in an hour or two and since having it in running with the EJ, the temperature guage sits just under a quarter even with spirited driving. And that was BEFORE i had the thermo hooked up.

Sorry mate, i disappeared for a few days but El Freddo's on the money there. :D I'd recommend using a thermo fan, but thats only because i had overheating issues with my EA all the time so now i swear by having sufficent cooling. Its not a bad way to be i guess? As for the lift and EJ, i HIGHLY reco...

G'day jollyL, umm.. lift kit is fairly straight forward, you can usually buy a second hand kit on either here or ebay, Then it just comes down to fitment which you can usually do in a weekend or so. And as for the EJ conversion, i guess it comes down to how handy you are at fabricating/ adapting thi...

Okayy , very happy today :) we eventually got it to run but it was only on two cylinders.. we had spark and injector pulse so we pulled out the first to injectors in the rail, tested the solenoid inside them and it wasn't engaging the needle and seat of the injector. so after giving it a whack with ...

Thats pretty darn clever if you ask me RSR :D, but the problem is now rectified, acquired some longer studs and bolted the engine and gearbox together, lowered it all onto the mounts and came inside feeling that i deserve a beer. Yesterday arv the old man gave me a hand to line up the box and motor....
