What clutch disc you use is not as important as which pressure plate you use. An XT6 PP will hold the power of an EJ22 with no slippage. Use that with an OEM L series clutch disc and you're all set.

I'm using the MY temp sensor in the radiator to go to the temp guage ... any reason I wouldn't keep using it ? That sensor in the radiator is the thermoswitch for the aux. fan. You can continue to use it to trigger your fan, but it doesn't have anything to do with the temp guage. I put an EA81 temp...

You can find rad. hose that is the smaller diameter, but opens up to to the larger diameter at one end. It's hard to find a perfect match using the premolded stuff, but what you can do is find two hoses with the angles you need, cut them and use a plastic hardware store union and hose clamps to put ...

What I heard is that the JDM EJ20G's put in the early legacies were 220hp for the ones fitted with a manual tranny and 200hp for the autos.

The EJ adapter plate doesn't create any fitment issues. The EJ engine belhousing is 12mm (about 1/2") shallower than the EA bellhousing. So you bolt up an adapter plate of that thickness and any EA series tranny mounts just like it would to an EA motor.
