Went for a play with a mate up into the watagins north of sydney. heres some photos of the subaru going where the cruiser failed with diff locks. bubbles is not at all good. run it with the radiator cap of and if a steady stream of bubbles keep coming it is a sad day.

i spent 3 weeks towing my camper all over tassie with the OBW (outback wagon) it sure is a nice piece of land but you could see the scares on the locals where the head had been removed.:D LOL

Fixed It

OK i fixed it at last:D the problem came down to the jap import motor has different exhaust cams and these cams have to stay with the block.:( When i put the new heads on as per good practice i keep the moving parts together IE the cams stayed with the heads. i don't know exactly where but the relat...

your right Fredsub but i have swapped it with the spare unit i have and it made no different. the only thing for sure is when i find the problem it will be stupid and put mud on my face
