you need the key barrel&key from the car....or you can buy a new key and get subaru to re-program if you don`t have the original key...costly exercise but !

You don`t need to use the impreza key&barrel/transducer but you need it wired in tucked undr dash.

In your neck of the woods I`m not really sure, get a rexnet and ask ;) I think there is a guy called "hitman" who`s pretty good over that way. Depends if you want to re-flash the std ecu or go aftermarket. Find a tuner talk to them about options.

Ecutek, Verso, Cob flash tuner.... All proprietory stuff with big dollar price tag to use/un-lock. Exclusive to registered tuners who have payed ! They un-lock and re-tune the fatory ecu. ...although if you were a good enough programmer and had access to enough info(i.e buy a Cobb access port and re...

The dizzy will see whats called "ported vaccum" i.e it doesn`t see vaccum when the throttle is closed/@ idle...only after the throttle is cracked a certain amount/on cruise. Not having vaccum advance @ idle increases idle stability and torque for take off....you only want advance from the dizzy vacc...

As a good suspension guy....all the Lseries I`ve had set-up have been done ignoring the factory specs if you have any modifications to std(ie springs, ride hieght etc) mroberts is right....if its a front wheel drive car it must run some toe out....if you`ve turned it into awd you can go near neutral...

Buy factory EJ22t pistons or the many aftermarket alternative...forged or not, plenty around for 22 bore. ...quad cam heads would be nicer, but single cam EJ heads would work just not rev as well in std form. Turbo ECU...aftermarket, choose you poison....due the low cost of a EJ turbo ecu and loom p...

Doubt you`d have any issues on a motor that makes very little power so isn`t stressed, so good luck :D :D (Yes I am taking the piss out of your supa powerfull engine ! lol) Stronger than original thread.....not likely, its still holding into an alloy thread, and this time its not a thread cut at the...

No haven`t got it yet...sounds like a good idear since its the FIRST time wolf have actually written decent software with datalogging capability.. You can get the latest free version of the configuration software for free. For $89 I think its worth it(I`d only buy it tho if I was doing the tuning......

....yeah that sounds plausable !

...maybe theres a little more to it than making a EJ engine run in an L ! ...just like fitting a EJ rack and collum into a Brumby.

Great idear but, would be a sweet set-up if you have the time....and could, for those concerned, make it legal/registerable.

You used extra long coils right ? and loctite or somthing ?

If you don`t feel good about doing up head bolts or have stripped them on last attempt....buy a stud kit !

OK thats calculated FWHP...so yeah thats low ! Driveline losses on a Subaru AWD set-up I know to be ~20-30Kw....its not a percentage but a constant, if yours was Front wheel drive it maybe should have been less. It does depend on driveline, wheels and tyres, pressures , selected gear, dyno set-up et...

Thats sounds about right....theres a 20-30Kw loss from flywheel reading to atw reading. And dynos aren`t that acurate...they don`t have to be to be used as what they are designed for, a tuning tool.

Why did you dyno it ? was there another issue ?

You must fill tank for > 48hrs(72 hours better) with water(little detergent in it helps...then fill with inert gas(shielding gas, argon, co2 etc). Then you still need to have the tank vented well so if it goes woof, there is somewhere for gas/burn to escape, c02&argon is heavier so vent at top point...

AFAIK the cable for the V3 wolf your attempting to build is for reading the mem cart via a paralell port.....I don`t think wolf made pc-wolf sw for V3. You dump the map to cart and them read/write cart via 25 pin paralel I have said cable(came ...
