hi, just wondering if you have the original radiator? im needing the plug/bung at the bottom of the radiator if available?

the mobile mechanic guy said he thinks theres a thread lock on it, or its rusted on, lol, when hes tried to turn it, it turns the crank, so its really stuck

thats an idea, ill look into that tommorrow,
its just such a small piece of bolt left in there, could i try a shorter bolt and leave the bit in there, *cringe*

i dont really know what made it fall off, dodgy bolt???

i've taken the radiator out and the grill, wrecked the cog getting to it, but the mechanics drill he has, wont fit in the space we made, he has tried the "easy out" option.

any suggestions on getting a piece of bolt from an engine, the harmonic balancer decided to fall off, leaving some of the bolt in there
not having much luck getting it out, dont really want to pull the engine out.

i would of said a belated happy birthday when i saw u briefly today at woolies car park, but i was too busy catching up on gossip!

The police man, thought my car was unregistered... it had no rego sticker cause i was waiting for a new one, and if he had of waited around long enough for me to come back to my car i could of showed him myself!!!!

yes my liberty... i'll have to replace the windscreen now, it already had a slight crack down the bottom of the windscreen, not too noticable, but these two chips are just above my eye sight.

I've had a unlucky couple of days with my subie..... On friday my daughter opens my car door into someones new Subaru Impreza, so im up for the excess on her claim more then likely (couple of hundred at least) or the cost of repair. On saturday i was coming home from markets when not 1 but 2 stones ...

i did have a c02 test done with it coming back all clear, no water in oil, pressure test in radiator ok,

head gasket or corroded out gallery on the head it will have to wait till after christmas.

why does my water feel the need pour out the overflow container, until most of my water is out of the radiator and the engine starts to get hot?

sounds similar to my problem, only now i think its had it!! its worse!!

my temp used to fluctuate after about 40 mins of normal driving,
but i've had 3 thermostats, a new radiator and a c02 test (came back all good) nothing helps, i still cant find the prob.

So have you named your cat yet?
