yep, as above, try going for an STi, better brakes ( brembos ), better gearbox, more power etc etc. better base to start with

i ended up going through work and getting it off Amcap for $660, still a ridiculous price but better than Subaru and it was a genuine Subaru part from Amcap too!!

i was there last night, a mates GC8 rex ran a pb of 12.92 and a bug eye sti got his time down to 11.17!! not sure if they ran quicker as i had to leave early.

i may able to come watch on the 5th, not sure yet

well......... i had always loved WRX's especially wagons/hatchs. as i was looking for a second car and wanted something different but with power and reliablity... i came to the decision of buying a wrx. a friend of mine who has a GC8 wrx sedan helped with the decision. as the wagons aren't quite as ...

Maybe u should get a wrx and "disable" the turbo somehow. Then when u are allowed a turbo car you have one already :) cant, take off the turbo and you have a low compression engine that'd have no guts what-so-ever, it'd be slower than an n/a rx/gx. it'd be better to buy a shitter and save your doll...

not a bad looking wagon but $10g's a bit steep for a kit and rims on an otherwise std car, i only paid $14g for my 97 "WRX" wagon

my rex did a similar thing when i turned right ( i think it was right?? ). anyways.... i had a mechanic look at the wheel bearings and cv's etc but they couldnt find anything wrong so i took it to another mechanic, this time a subi specialist ( RMS in WA ), and they found it straight away, it turned...

later model wrx rims on the classics look sweet. looks nice mate, my '97 has also had an '00 front update ( without the crystal type headlights and not the interior though ) plus i fitted STi tail lights too... you should get some clear front, side indicators and sti tail lights.... makes a big diff...
